Depending on the product we can offer home visits. For example, we can visit with mobility scooters, powerchairs and manual wheelchairs and can offer a measurement/assessment for rise and recline chairs although we always recommend that the user tries the chair if possible.
Yes, we can hire out manual self propel wheelchairs or mobility scooters via our rental scheme. Minimum hire charge is based on 3 day hire. Wheelchair hire starts at £10.00 per day and scooter hire £20.00 per day.

Yes, the MS Society is able to provide grants towards the cost of items that you may need as a result of your MS, if there is no health or social services funding available. If you have more than £16,000 in saving then unfortunately no grant will be available. If you have more than £8,000 in savings, the MS Society will ask you to make a contribution. No, we tend not to buy second hand products. We sell mainly new although we may accept the occasional trade in depending on the condition of the scooter/powered wheelchair.
