The Parkinsons UK organisation is offering a grant of up to £1500, redeemable against products to make your life easier such as electrical items, respite care and specialist equipment. Applications for the Parkinsons UK grants will be accepted until the 31st July 2020. If you suffer from the disease, we have a range of mobility aids and specialist products that you could use the grant to purchase such as wheelchairs, powerchairs and mobility scooters, rollators, rise and recline chairs and daily living aids.

Applying for a Grant

The application process is now open and can be submitted by email or post before the closing date of 31st July 2020. Anyone who suffers from Parkinsons or another form of parkinsonism or unpaid carers can apply, including those who receive a Carers Allowance. There are some restrictions on what the organisation will fund, and Parkinsons UK priorities those who are in the most need of financial support, so to qualify your total household savings need to be less than £16,000.
