How does it Work?
You receive a budget from the NHS based on how much it would cost the NHS to provide a wheelchair that meets your needs. Plus, they also contribute to the repair and maintenance of your chosen wheelchair.
If your wheelchair costs more than your budget, you will be responsible for the additional costs yourself. Some organisations or charities may be able to help you.
