Eilidh’s Story

At the age of 14, after complications from cancer treatment, Eilidh became a wheelchair user. While Eilidh has worked hard on her rehabilitation, support from a wheelchair is still needed and navigating countryside terrain and long distances still feels like a battle. This prompted Eilidh to be on the hunt for a power-add on, as she tells us:
“When I got my small wheelchair I knew I wanted to look into getting an attachment, something specifically for long distances and going on terrain that I would never be able to wheel independently on.”

I live on a hill so was able to go up and down the hills to test if they would work for me, as well as taking it a spin on the massive field of grass beside my house which I have never been able to wheel independently on. My family dog ran around on the grass with me and it was a truly special moment as it was the first time in years I was able to move freely without thought. I had the biggest smile on my face.”
