Mobility Solutions was delighted to make its debut at this year’s Arnold Clark Mobility Roadshow.
The free event saw more than 2,000 people head along to Glasgow’s SECC to find out about cars, wheelchair accessible vehicles and other products designed to help people overcome reduced mobility.
Mobility Choice
Mobility Solutions staff were kept busy demonstrating a selection of mobility aids including wheelchairs, walkers, mobility scooters and a selection of handy gadgets for helping around the house. Visitors to the stand commented that they simply hadn’t realised how many useful products there are nowadays to help older and disabled people with independent living. Among the most popular items were boot scooters – so easy to transport, whenever you go out – walkers of various kinds and a variety of kitchen and bathroom aids, designed to make everyday tasks around the home that bit easier.
As well buying things on the day, many show visitors said they would be making a trip to the Mobility Solutions superstore, in Hawthorn Street, Glasgow, to see the full range of products on offer there – all under one roof.
Offering More
As well as mobility products on display, the stand was twinned with Mobility Solutions’ sister company, Allied Mobility. On stand there were the UK’s most popular wheelchair accessible vehicles, the Peugeot Horizon™ and Peugeot Independence™. Customers were delighted that this enabled them to try out the range of wheelchairs from Mobility Solutions in each of the vehicles on display.
Arnold Clark & Lots More
Arnold Clark vehicles, from numerous leading brands, were on show in their dozens. There were lots of other exhibits to see, including a Tunnocks stand which offered lots of irresistable tasty samples, putting a smile on everyone’s face. There was also a free nail bar and a selection of fantastic charities including Guide Dogs, Glasgow Disability Alliance, Motability and Spinal Injuries Scotland, offering advice and support throughout the day.
Mobility Solutions store manager, Michael Facenna, comments: “As a Glasgow based company, it’s great to go to local events and meet people in the area to offer a taster of what our new mobility superstore has to offer. We also had the chance to meet customers who’ve already visited the store and it was great to hear how they’re getting on.“
