We’re delighted to welcome Toni Fugaccia to the Mobility Solutions team. Toni will be on hand Mondays, Tuesdays and every second Saturday at our Glasgow superstore to fully assess your mobility needs, recommend the best solutions and answer any questions you might have.
Individual Needs
Occupational therapy is a supportive approach which treats people as individuals, taking into account their environment, their individual needs and any medical conditions they may have. All occupational therapists – often known as OTs – are bound by a code of professional conduct and practice and Toni is registered with the Health Professions Council and the College of Occupational Therapists.

Toni qualified as an OT 2002 from Glasgow Caledonian University and has wide experience in social work, specialising in providing mobility and daily living aids, stroke rehabilitation support and major home adaptations. She also previously worked for the NHS where she specialised in elderly care, rapid response and accident and emergency care.
Lending Expertise
Toni comments: “I’m really excited to be part of the Mobility Solutions team. I think there’s a lot that occupational therapy can bring to our customers and I’m looking forward to helping with whatever questions or advice they may need.”
Toni continues: “Scooters, chairs and beds are a big part of what we offer.
“What people may not realise, however, is that we stock a wide range of smaller, everyday products which can make day-to-day tasks easier. Items such as the one touch automatic tin opener are particularly good for people with arthritis or those who have been left with the use of only one side of their body due to a stroke. Or people who have poor balance may find that our Flexyfoot walking stick is ideal thanks to its added suspension and grip – hillwalkers also find this very useful!”
