Here at Mobility Solutions, we are keen to give back to the community in any way we can. Recently, we had the pleasure of donating a Karma wheelchair to the congregation of a local church.
A Step Further
We were recently approached by Isabel, a member of Trinity Possil & Henry Drummond Church of Scotland to fix a broken wheel on their communal wheelchair.
“This chair is extremely helpful for our church members, many of whom are elderly.”
When it became apparent that it wasn’t going to be possible to repair the wheel, we decided to go a step further and offer a replacement instead.
With this wheelchair available, those with mobility issues can continue to attend the church regularly.
Isabel commented: “This chair is extremely helpful for our members, many of whom are elderly.”
When They Need it Most
She continued: “The chair will be of great benefit to those who aren’t so steady on their feet. We have ramps in place at each entrance which allow for full wheelchair access.”
The photographs show minister Rev Richard Buckley, Jean Ross, one of their office bearers and Mrs Margaret Whyte (97 years old) in the Karma wheelchair.
Isabel concluded: “Trinity Possil & Henry Drummond Church send a very big thank you to Mobility Solutions and their staff, especially Saffron, who has been extremely helpful, and we will have no hesitation in recommending them to other churches and individuals.”
