Ensure That Your Product is Charged

  • Lead Acid Batteries
These batteries should be charged for a minimum of 8 hours (12 hours if batteries are larger than 50Ah) every time they are used. Do not leave your product without charging it for more than 2 weeks if it’s been in use. Please note: the display on the product will not indicate loss of charge until driven so please do not rely on it for reference. You cannot overcharge lead acid batteries so it’s safe to leave them on charge.
  • Lithium Batteries
Lithium batteries should be charged until the charger indicates that the battery is full. Once fully charged, remove the charger. Avoid overcharging the battery or charging it in low temperatures e.g. outside or in a cold shed. Do not leave your battery on charge overnight.

If You Have Pneumatic Tyres, Ensure They Are Inflated to the Recommended Pressure Setting

If you allow your tyres to lose pressure you will notice a loss of performance both in steering and battery life. If you need a technician to inflate your tyres, please call us on 0800 587 9615 and we’ll be happy to help.

You Will Be Provided with a Courtesy Product

If your product needs to be brought into our workshop, we will provide you with a courtesy product within 48 hours (excluding weekends) of you reporting that you need a repair. We have a large courtesy fleet but cannot guarantee that it will be identical to your own product e.g. if you have a custom-made seat size or a unique product feature such as a folding mechanism, we can’t guarantee you will receive the same items on your courtesy product.
