Last week we attended our first Midlands Mobility Day where we set up a pop-up Mobility Solutions shop. The event was held at award winning Twycross Zoo in the countryside of the Heart of England. Over 650 guests signed up and attended the event!
Suppliers
We were lucky enough to be able to showcase a wide range of mobility products from a number of suppliers who were present at the event. These suppliers included, Scooterpac, Pride Mobility, Quantum Rehab UK, Topro, Pharmaouest, Stanley Handling, Padders, Helping Hands, NHC Adjustment Beds and Suite Options – all of which had representatives on hand to give advice and chat with guests. We always provide a wide range of suppliers to give our guests multiple options and to showcase what the market has to offer.
Busy Busy
The footfall in our pop-up shop was non-stop all day, with many guests trying and buying products to take home that day! As usual, we had our prize draw competition and Scooterpac were running their own ‘guess the number of balloons’ competition at their Cabin Car display. There were plenty of opportunities to get involved in activities and competitions on the day, creating a fun atmosphere throughout the event.
Our sister brand, Allied Mobility, showcased their entire range of new and used wheelchair accessible vehicles including the Ford Independence™ and their drive-from-wheelchair car the Peugeot Impulse™.
Fantastic Feedback
The feedback we received proved what a successful event the Midlands Mobility Day was. Guests commented on the ‘ease of access’ around the exhibits and venue itself, the refreshments available and the ‘wide range of mobility products available to view’. There was also compliments regarding our ‘friendly staff’, who were able to provide advice and information.
