Lightest-ever Power Wheelchair
The all-new Q50R Carbon from Sunrise Medical is already a hit with our customers because it’s so incredibly lightweight. Made with premium carbon fibre, it’s light and strong and weighs in at just 14.5 kg, without the batteries. However, a single battery weighs just 1.4 kg!
Although it’s light to carry, it can still support a maximum user weight of 136 kg or 21 stone 4 lbs, like its sister product – the Sunrise Medical Q50 R Powered Wheelchair.
Compact Carbon Folding Powerchair
The Q50R Carbon powerchair is so light and compact that it can go anywhere with you. It’s easy to lift it in and out of a car and you could even choose to take it on the train or on a plane*! When folded it measures 370 mm in length, 570 mm wide and has a height of 767 mm.
By the way, it’s simple to fold too — you simply flip the clip at the back of the chair and fold the footplate, pushing the backrest down. To secure you can keep it together with the transport strap. That’s it.
Battery Power and Range
With a 10Ah lithium-Ion battery you can enjoy a range of up to 12 km (7.4 miles) but if you want to go even further, a second battery can be installed taking your range up to 24 km or nearly 15 miles.
You can leave the battery in place, when the chair is folded and not in use, and charge it via the socket on the controller. You could also easily pop off the battery and charge it separately with its own charging socket.
*The Q50 R Carbon’s Lithium-Ion battery is IATA-approved (International Air Transport Association) for transportation by aircraft if you want to go abroad!

With its elegant carbon-fibre frame, the Q50 R Carbon is a stylish powerchair. Plus, you can choose from a selection of 5 accent colours — blue, orange, purple, red, or yellow — so take your pick!
